Monarch Triathlon 2023 Canceled, Set to Return in 2024 with Exciting Changes
Kingman, Arizona – August 20, 2023 – The Monarch Triathlon, a highly anticipated annual event, regretfully announces the cancellation of its 2023 edition, originally scheduled for September 30. Organizers have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event due to unforeseen circumstances. However, participants and fans alike can look forward to the triumphant return of the Monarch Triathlon in 2024, featuring an array of exciting changes that promise to make it bigger and better than ever before.
The Monarch Triathlon, draws athletes from across the region and beyond to test their mettle in swimming, biking, and running. With the health and safety of participants, volunteers, and spectators being the utmost priority, the decision to cancel the 2023 event was made after careful consideration.

Participants can once again dive into the crystal-clear waters of the Colorado River in Bullhead City for the swim leg, conquer a challenging cycling route to Kingman , and run under the Route 66 arch at the finish line. Registrants who had signed up for the 2023 Monarch Triathlon need not despair.
