Let me take a moment to introduce myself, I am Brandy Ramirez. I founded SheStrong Inc, a non-for-
profit 501(c)3 in 2018 after battling stage 3 breast cancer. In October of 2022, I decided to follow my
dreams and host the first ever USAT sanctioned triathlon spanning Bullhead City and Kingman, Arizona. I
named this race the Monarch Triathlon.
The Monarch Triathlon: A Journey from Dreams to Reality
I am honored to announce the Monarch will return on September 30, 2023. A portion of the registration
fee is used to create scholarships for girls whose primary care giver has battled cancer. This scholarship
was created after I witnessed the way my cancer battle changed my own children. I am a proud mother
of 4 amazing children, three girls and one son. While hosting and planning this race, I have realized that
my hometown of Kingman, Arizona is lacking a multisport event for youth. Therefore, I am happy to
announce SheStrong will be hosting the first ever USAT Sanctioned Splash and Dash on August 5, 2023.
Event Details: Date, Location, and Age Group Information
This event will take place at Centennial Community Park and is free to children ages 6-13. This is a non-
competitive event and is intended to be a fun introduction to the multisport universe. We hope to
encourage our youth to be outdoors, swim, run, and just enjoy moving their bodies.
Celebrating Every Child: Finisher’s Medals and Swag Bags
Each child that crosses the finish line will receive a finishers medal, a swag bag with goodies, and a raffle
ticket for prizes. If you would like to have your child participate, please download the attached
application and present it on August 5, 2023 at the registration table located in front of Centennial
Community Pool.
